Welcome, Pastor Caleb King! — South Central District

On Sunday, July 23, 2023, Pastor Caleb King was ordained and commissioned as a new mission pastor to North Collin County, Texas. The service was held at Atonement Lutheran Church in Plano, Texas.

This new WELS mission is starting with a core group of members from Atonement. They will spend the coming year organizing their efforts and preparing for their launch service. The name of the mission church is Divine Savior, and Pastor King and his wife Sami are currently living in Celina, Texas.
