The 22nd Biennial Convention of the WELS South Central District Convention will take place at Calvary Lutheran Church in Dallas, Texas, on June 1-2, 2026. The address is 9807 Church Road, Dallas, Texas 75238.
The opening service will begin on Monday, June 1, at 10:00am. The convention is scheduled to conclude on Tuesday afternoon.

Travel & Hotel Lodging
Calvary Lutheran Church & School is loctaed at 9807 Church Road, Dallas, Texas 75238. The church is 25 miles east of Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and 12 miles from Dallas Love Field (DAL). There are no transportation arrangements made by the convention organizers. Please make your own travel plans for attending the convnetion.
As you make plans for the upcoming South Central District Convention, a brief note regarding lodging:
In recent conventions, attendees have preferred the flexibility of selecting their own accommodations rather than using a single hotel with a reserved room block. For that reason, no official hotel or block of rooms has been arranged for this year’s convention.
Most participants typically stay either Sunday and Monday evening or just Monday evening, depending on travel distance and personal preference.
Please also note that Calvary will be hosting a farewell dinner and fellowship on-site Monday evening in honor of Pastor Patterson as he concludes his service as District President. Because of this, there are no plans for any organized fellowship at a particular hotel.
As you consider lodging options, you may find that the hotels immediately closest to Calvary are somewhat limited in quality. Many have found it worthwhile to look a bit further out—either north into Richardson or east into Mesquite—where there are generally more comfortable and reliable options.

Everyone who attends the convention is required to register. The registration fee is $115. Click on the link below to register. The following coupon codes are available for certain individuals.
